make Cloudworks open source
I'd be interested in a "generic" version of Cloudworks that I could download and install, possibly in a "walled garden" approach.

improve the way academic references are handles on the site
At the moment references are just treated as text strings - can we keep some of the semantics of references and make sure they are displayed in a consistent format? Can we make it easier for people to add references that they already have in their referencing software? There's probably lots that we could do here.

increase the range of embeds possible
The types of embedded content possible at the moment are limited - could look at increasing this.

Make the Edit text box a lot bigger
I'm editing a whole series of clouds to put in an extra paragraph at the end. I currently have to do this in a teeny tiny window, which seems to have its own strong opinions about which bit of it I should be viewing.
If I edit the HTML I can have a huge great window, but then I have to put in all the HTML codes, which is a drag.2 votes -
improve support for languages other than English on the site
We have the basic infrastructure in place (and there is currently a Greek version of the site) but we haven't positively worked on encouraging more translations or worked on the infrastructure for making translations sustainable as we make changes to the site and e.g. add new features

enable link annotation
Brief annotations add value to most links.

allow people to add series of events
e.g. for seminar series. There's no nice way of doing this at the moment.

add support for conference schedules
The site is being used for conferences a great deal, but we don't make it easy for people to add conference schedule information in a useful way.
